In our home, we are mostly concerned about decorating our living rooms. We bought different types of decoration pieces to enhance the interior view of our apartment home. In this overall planning a small but very important part of home misses out from the list of decoration. The washroom! We are going into our washroom or bathroom several times a day, rather than going to every single room, which may be we are unaware of. Beside the hygiene issues, we must keep an account of decorating our washroom or restroom. Look around your washroom first and see its size, throw away all the unnecessary items; keep it simple.
Quick tips to décor your washroom is given here.
- Keep your toiletries (shampoo, toothpaste, shaving products etc) together on a shelf in the corner of the wash room or keep them in a basket. It will help you to find your belongings in one place, saves your time and irritates you less.
- Keep a small plastic bin as a litter box.
- Hang a rack on the wall. You can keep some magazines there also some show pieces to decorate.
- To add some greenery, you can keep a small plant, organized in a flower pot. Make sure it is not creating a mess.
- Use wall hanger to hang your towel and cloths. It will help you to keep them moist free and avoids mess of clothes.
- It is better to have a wall cabinet in your washroom with drawers for keeping separate items.
- Decorate a corner with perfume bottles. It looks classy and keeps the place aromatized.
- Keep a separate box for first aid items in your washroom. It is useful and will be in a specific place.
- Things you use every day should go in the bathroom closet and things you rarely use like extra shampoo or soap should go under the sink..
- Keeping link with the tiles of your washroom, you can hang curtain in the window space, if there is any.
- Use floor mats, matched with the tiles color or in contrast. It will be nice if you keep a box of facial tissue along with the toilet tissue roll, in your wash room.
- If your shower place is in a separate portion of the washroom, hang a plastic shower curtain there.
- You can also keep a pair of scissors and your pedicure kit in a separate holder, on your basin area.
Keep some time in your hand every day before or after your shower to organize your washroom. It will be very nice if you can keep the area dry. Have an organized decorated washroom, live smartly.

আমাদের বাসায় আমরা মুলত আমাদের বসবাসের ঘর সাজানোর ব্যপারে বেশি সচেতন। আমাদের এপার্টমেন্টের ভিতরের সৌন্দর্য বর্ধনের জন্য আমরা নানা ধরনের সাজানোর সামগ্রী কিনে থাকি। সাজানোর এই পুরো পরিকল্পনা থেকে বাড়ির একটি সামান্য কিন্তু খুব গুরুত্বপূর্ণ অংশ প্রায়ই বাদ পরে যায়। ওয়াশরুম! আমরা প্রত্যেকটি আলাদা আলাদা ঘরে যাবার থেকে অনেক বেশি বার ওয়াশরুমে যাই যা হয়ত আমাদের মাথাতে থাকেনা। জীবাণুমুক্ত রাখার পাশাপাশি বাথরুমের সৌন্দর্যের দিকে আমদের নজর দিতে হবে। প্রথমে আপনার বাথরুমের চারপাশে তাকান এবং এর আকার দেখুন, সব অপ্রয়োজনীয় জিনিস ফেলে দিন; এটাকে সাধারণ রাখুন।
আপনার ওয়াশরুমকে সাজানোর সহজ কিছু কৌশল এখানে দেয়া হল,
- আপনার প্রসাধনীগুলো (শ্যাম্পু, টুথপেস্ট, শেভিং সামগ্রী ইত্যাদি) একত্রে এক কোনায় একটি তাকে বা ঝুড়িতে রাখুন। এটা আপনার প্রসাধনীগুলোকে সহজে এক জায়গায় খুঁজে পেতে সাহায্য করবে, সময় বাঁচান এবং নিজেকে ঝামেলামুক্ত রাখুন।
- ছোট্ট একটা ময়লা ফেলার ঝুড়ি রাখুন।
- দেয়ালে একটি তাক ঝুলান। আপনি সেখানে কিছু পত্রিকা ও সাজানোর জিনিস রাখতে পারবেন।
- কিছু সবুজের সমারোহের জন্য টবে কিছু গাছপালা রাখতে পারেন। খেয়াল রাখুন এগুলো যেন বেশি ঘিঞ্জি হয়ে না যায়।
- আপনার তোয়ালে ও কাপড় রাখার জন্য দেয়ালে হ্যাঙ্গার ব্যবহার করুন। এটা কাপড়কে শুকনা রাখতে ও কাপড় স্থুপ হওয়া থেকে বিরত রাখবে।
- জিনিসগুলো আলাদা আলাদা রাখতে আপনার বাথরুমের দেয়ালে ড্রয়ারসহ কেবিনেট থাকলে খুব ভাল হয়।
- একটি কোনাকে সুগন্ধির বোতল দিয়ে সাজান। এটা রুচিপূর্ণ দেখাবে এবং জায়গাটিকে সুগন্ধময় করবে।
- প্রাথমিক চিকিৎসার একটি আলাদা বাক্স আপনার বাথরুমে রাখুন। এটা উপকারী।
- যে জিনিসগুলো আপনি প্রত্যহ ব্যবহার করেন সেগুলো বাথরুমের ক্যাবিনেটে এবং যেগুলো আপনি কদাচিৎ ব্যবহার করেন সেগুলো যেমন অতিরিক্ত শাম্পু, সাবান সিঙ্কের নিচে রাখুন।
- আপনার ওয়াশরুমে জানালা থাকলে টাইলসের সাথে সামঞ্জস্য রেখে জানালার স্থানে পর্দা ঝুলাতে পারেন।
- টাইলসের রঙের সাথে সামঞ্জস্য রেখে বা মিলিয়ে ফ্লোর ম্যাট ব্যবহার করুন। আপনি যদি ওয়াশরুমে একটা ফেসিয়াল টিস্যু ও একটি টয়লেট টিস্যু রাখেন তাহলে খুব ভাল হয়।
- আপনার শাওয়ারটি যদি আলাদা একটি অংশে হয় তবে প্লাস্টিকের শাওয়ারের পর্দা ব্যবহার করুন।
- আপনার বেসিনের অংশে আলাদা একটি তাকে আপনি এক জোড়া কাঁচি এবং পেডিকিওর সেট রাখতে পারেন।
আপনার ওয়াশ রুম সাজানোর জন্য প্রত্যেকদিন গোসলের পূর্বে বা পরে কিছু সময় রাখুন। জায়গাটি শুকনা রাখতে পারলে খুব ভাল হয়। ওয়াশরুমকে সুন্দরভাবে সাজিয়ে রাখুন , আধুনিকভাবে বাঁচুন।
